About the highway

In General

Highway66 was started in 2002 as a way to bring focus and communication into the Eddy West work force. It was a lunch geared toward building a better work environment for managers and employees. It has since grown into a community out reach toward building a better relationship with Jesus Christ. By partenering with businesses, pastors and others in the community Highway66 has become a meeting place for all in the community to fellowship over lunch and grow in their relationship with Christ.

The Meetings

The Highway66 meetings consist of a free lunch provided by the sponsors, a brief introductory to the message being presented and the message. The messages are all video messages from modern leaders within the Christian Church such as Bruce Wilkinson, the author of 'The Prayer of Jabez', Andy Stanley, Pastor of North Point Community Church, Louie Giglio, Founder of Passion, John Eldredge, the author of 'The Journey of Desire' and others. Often these are resources not readily available to the community and are received well.

Attendants are encouraged to bring friends and family as often as they are able as well as business associates. The meetings are meant to be an inviting and open place to learn about God for the first time or if you've been a believer for many years. All are welcome.

Out Reach

Highway66 has been involved in various out reach programs. One year Highway66 partnered with Blood and Fire in Atlanta in a blanket drive for the homeless during winter. Highway66 is also active in supporting missionaries and orphanages in South East Asia, primarily Cambodia. You may read more about that on our Out Reach page.
