Vek & Samouan

Biography

Vek and Samouan have an amazing story of how they escaped the Khmer Rouse and fled to the United States. But when they heard God's calling to move back to Cambodia to evangelize those that were left they not only went back to a place of danger but they left their children in the United States. Having to part with their children was only one sacrifice in a long list of sacrifices for Vek and Samouan.

Mission

Vek and Samouan are instrumental in building orphanages for the many orphaned children in Cambodia. Each orphanage they build can house, cloth, feed and educate up to 50 children. This is even more important now that many countries, including the US, have stopped all adoption processes for children coming out of Cambodia.

Another important ministry is their radio broadcast station which fills Cambodia's air waves with Christian messages and music.

Visitors going over to Cambodia to help with Vek and Samouan's missions are often encouraged to have dinner with military and political leaders as well as business men to help evangelize the young leadership of Cambodia. Vek and Samouan hope through these type of casual evangelizing of the leadership the gospel will trickle down as leaders come to know Christ.
